Managing a noisy class can feel overwhelming 😅. But there’s a simple pattern that can help!

First, understand the “10-80-10 rule.” About 10% of students will always behave 👍. Another 10% may struggle no matter what 😬. The middle 80%? They will follow the classroom culture you create .

So your goal is clear: focus on the middle group.

Start by knowing your clear expectations 📋. Decide how you want students to act—during entry, lessons, and transitions. Remember, students follow what you do, not just what you say.

Next, be consistent every single day 🔁. If you let small behaviors slide, they grow bigger. Consistency builds habits over time.

Finally, use a simple system that gives immediate feedback ⚡. For example, you can track points as a class. When behavior slips, the class loses points. When they do well, they earn rewards.

This creates positive peer pressure 👀. Students start helping each other stay on track!

The big idea?
👉 Create a strong classroom culture, stay consistent, and guide the middle.

That’s the pattern that works 💡.
